New Aerodinamica: when aspiration rhymes with ventilation!
New Aerodinamica returns to Sardinia with a new “adventure” in terms of… ventilation!
Yes, even if the skills of the Bergamo company are, as everyone knows, geared towards industrial aspiration, years and years of experience in the field of cabin ventilation have given the expected fruits. Ondulor, an already known and loyal customer of New Aerodinamica, has seen all this firsthand thanks to a job successfully completed last year, They did not hesitate to contact the Bergamo team, thus marking a return to Porto Industriale, a municipality in the province of Oristano, home since 1973 of Ondulor, a paper converting company specializing in the creation of packaging for sectors such as fruit and vegetables, pizza, food, services and industry. New Aerodinamica took on a big challenge: the ventilation and extraction of hot air from the cabins of a recently installed corrugator, a new system that was the source of a lot of noise, for which the manufacturer had created soundproof cabins made of sandwich panels to reduce its intensity. Numerous problems were immediately highlighted, the first was the excessive heat inside the cabins, generated by both the cardboard and the mechanical parts, which created a heat accumulation that was a source of condensation, with the risk of damaging the cardboard as well as leading to overheating of the electronic components, putting the entire production at risk.
How to intervene to resolve all this quickly?
New Aerodinamica’s intervention was fast and precise: from preliminary calculations based on the drawings provided by the customer, to on-site surveys, up to the construction and testing of the system in just one week. Seven days marked by midweek work, so as not to interrupt production, to the final connections made during the weekend to ensure safety.
But how did the intervention take place?
To solve this problem, the New Aerodinamica team created a system consisting of high-capacity centrifugal fans, with significant pressure, necessary for the effective suction of hot air through impervious ducts.
The result?
Exceptional! The fans started to act only at 70% of their capacity, still ensuring optimal air recirculation and the elimination of excess heat. The fan, chosen with a size greater than the needs, was connected to an inverter that allowed its speed to be adjusted based on operational needs, maintaining energy efficiency and reducing wear. This solution not only solved the overheating problems, but also significantly improved the working conditions. New Aerodinamica has once again combined the green aspect with the security of incredible performance, confirmed by the customer who immediately noted a milder temperature in the environment surrounding the cabins as well as the absence of condensation inside them. Perfect demonstration of the total effectiveness of the system.
In a word… superlative!
